NOVENA TO THE MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS

A Novena Mass to the Most Sacred Heart will be held on nine consecutive Friday's in different churches across Ireland between Friday, 2nd May - Friday, 27th June 2025.

The 7th Novena Mass in the series will be celebrated by Bishop Donal McKeown on Friday, 13th June 2025 at 7:00pm in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Derry Road, Strabane, Co Tyrone.


Timetable of Mass, Adoration, Rosary and Veneration of Relics

Additionally, the relics of St Margaret Mary Alacoque & St Claude la Colombiere from Paray-le-Monial, France, will stay in the Church until Thursday, 19th June.

Each day there will be a Celebration of the Eucharist, periods of Adoration, Veneration of the Relics and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. All are welcome. 

Friday, 13th June 2025 5.30pm Rosary followed by Eucharistic Adoration until 6.30pm
7.00pm Celebration of the Eucharist followed by veneration of the Relics until 9.00pm
Saturday, 14th June 2025 12.00pm Celebration of the Eucharist followed by veneration of Relics until 1.30pm
3.30pm - 5.00pm Eucharistic Adoration, Sacrament of Reconciliation and Rosary
Sunday, 15th June 20257.00am Celebration of the Eucharist followed by  veneration of the Relics until 8.00am
11.15am Celebration of the Eucharist followed by veneration of the Relics until 1.00pm
5.30pm Rosary
6.00pm Evening reflection followed by veneration of Relics until 8.00pm
Monday, 16th June 20257.00am Celebration of the Eucharist followed by veneration of the Relics until 8.00am
12.00pm Celebration of the Eucharist and veneration of the Relics until 1.00pm
6.30pm Rosary
7.00pm Evening reflection followed by Veneration of Relics until 9.00pm
Tuesday, 17th June 20257.00am Celebration of the Eucharist followed by  veneration of the Relics until 8.00am
12.00pm Celebration of the Eucharist and veneration of the Relics until 1.00pm
6.30pm Rosary
7.00pm Evening reflection followed by Veneration of Relics until 9.00pm
Wednesday, 18th June 2025 7.00am Celebration of the Eucharist followed by  veneration of the Relics until 8.00am
12.00pm Celebration of the Eucharist followed by veneration of the Relics until 1.00pm   
2.00pm Eucharistic adoration until 5.00pm
6.30pm Rosary
7.00pm Evening reflection followed by Veneration of Relics until 9.00pm
Thursday 19th June 20257.00am Celebration of the Eucharist followed by  veneration of the Relics until 8.00am
12.00pm Celebration of the Eucharist. 
Transfer of Relics.

During this Jubilee Year of Hope, this is a special event in the diocese - an opportunity to come to pray, a time of renewal, and an encouragement to all to explore a relationship with the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
